Crochet Quilting With Atty
Be Inspired by Atty at beautiful Villa Mavis at the De Trafford Wine Estate
Yes, one of our favourite international crochet designers is on her way to South Africa in May! Atty loved her last visit (2017) so much, she is coming back! We were just going to Retreat with her, but then we felt sad and sorry for the Capetonians who are begging us to visit. You can visit her blog and see what she is up to here.
So, instead of a grand tour this year, we are doing a…mini Tour! One venue, one day only, we will be at Villa Mavis in Stellenbosch on Saturday 11th May, for a morning workshop in the beautiful garden setting.
The Be Inspired pop up shop will also be visiting, and all are welcome to come and squish some yarn and grow their stash!
Workshoppers will however have exclusive access to Atty and her fabulous techniques – including weaving in ends without the use of a needle, and she will be teaching us her Drunkards Path crochet block. This pattern was due to release this month, but Atty has held it back so we will be the FIRST in the WORLD to get to make it!
We will of course provide the yarn (Scheepjes Soft Fun x 3 skeins of 50 grams) and we will have more Soft Fun in case you need to want to have extras. The pattern will be in our Be Inspired A5 laminated card format, so that it is easy to slip into your project bag.
Also included will be tea/coffee and cake, goodie bag, and there will be a cash donation wine bar, because when on a wine estate……do as one does on a wine estate! All proceeds from the bar will be donated to Animal Welfare Society Stellenbosch.
The morning class is limited to 25 people, so please do book as soon as possible. Your space is only confirmed upon booking.
Our flights are booked already, and I am already planning some lucky draw prizes.
Date: 9-12 noon workshop Saturday 11th May
Pop Up shop will run from 9.30 until 3.30pm all welcome even if not attending workshop
